Passing By

It's funny how when you find out that someone is not well that the time passes by to quick and you don't even realise it, scary to say the least but it is important to make sure you do everything you possibly can to fill that short time because believe me that is your golden time so don't let it pass you by.

I am still in shock about how time has gone so fast in the last 6 months and still cannot believe I am still sat here now with mixed thoughts that it is not real even though I know full well it is but there is still that element in us that does not want to believe what is happening.

Final thoughts...

Cherish the time you have, take advantage of every minute you get and don't let it pass you by.

From Start to Finish

From the time you find out to the time it is either cured or end of life comes, you think you are prepared but no matter how much you learn or come to terms with things but, you aren't which is something I am finding out as we go on this journey.

Nothing can pre pear you for the journey because along the way you unlock feelings, emotion, denial and a whole lot of other things that flood into your life without you knowing you could either feel or even imagine to feel.

I personally am experiencing this right now because I thought I have come to terms with things and got control of my feelings and emotions and would be ready to embrace strength to give to others around me but as we go on this is some what upsetting because I couldn't even be ready for this in a million years and to be honest, I don't think everyone around me is either.

It is the single most difficult thing I have to face in my life period and, even though I have learned everything I possibly could about the process and what the inevitable will be I am still like a rabbit in the headlights and in no man's land.

You don't see just how much something can have a huge impact on your life until you are in the thick of it and this is something that is life changing for so many reasons its unreal but, one thing I have to say is I am so proud of the love, support and bond that we have all shown to come together and be as one.

My Dealing With Cancer Blog

Hello and welcome to my new blog. I have created this blog to share my experiences in dealing with cancer. Although I do not suffer from this horrific disease, there is someone who is so close to me that does and, have had others around me who have also been on the devils express.

I am not here to fill this blog with rubbish articles but posts I create myself from my experiences and also valuable articles I find online that I think will be relevant to this blog.

I also welcome those who are in the same position as me or, if you have been through this ordeal and are recovering or not recovering to write your views or to get a mention out their to do so. You can write your article, weather you think it is relevant or not and I will post it up here for others to see.

If you are interested in sharing your experiences, you can drop me an email at jonathankornijenko @ gmail.com and I will try to answer all your emails and get your article posted on my blog.

For now, thank you for taking the time to visit my blog and I ask you to share this with everyone you know so we can share the experience. I also invite you to sign up for email updates which means when a new post is made, you will be notified of this by email and you can do this via the email box on your right.

Until next time, take care and be safe,
